Why Wisdom Wednesdays?
In eastern medicine, there is a concept called 5 pillars of health. In order to live a full healthy balanced life, we strive to care for our selves in these 5 pillars, based on what YOUR body, your soul, your mind needs. My best movement - may not be YOUR best movement. We need to learn to listen to our body, seek advice for understanding our bodies needs, and then - take action!
The 5 Pillars of Health are:
Plants as Medicine – Use essential oils and herbs to assist our bodies to restore health, build resiliency, restore energetic harmony, stress recovery, first aid...our bodies recognize the plant kingdom and responds better to it.
Proper Nutrition for our own body type – understand that real food is our best medicine. To learn about your unique system and body type – to find what is right for your body. My medicine might be your poison.
Movement/Exercise – Qi Gong, Yoga, Tai Qi, proper breathing, all eastern movements are designed to open and restore the flow of qi in our bodies, and it is vital that we open, move and improve this flow of qi for our health.
Spiritual practice – Explore universal wisdom, healing practices, energy healing, intuitive development, energy management tools - ways to bring more meaning and depth to your life.
Please join us and start building your personal well being tool kits. Discover holistic healing tools, meet like minded new people, explore essential oils, herbs, eastern bodywork methods (Shiatsu, Acupuncture), whole foods and nutrition, feng shui, energy management tools, and SO much more!
