Commonly used for — Marjoram can be very relaxing for the body, nervous and the digestive systems. Strengthens and relaxes nervous tension, stress related anxiety and insomnia, but use small amounts. Try with lavender and a drop of peppermint for headaches. Add to bath with chamomile and bergamot for a relaxing treat.

Extraction Method - Steam Distilled from flowering herb

Cautions — Non toxic, non irritating, non sensitizing to most individuals when used in appropriate dilutions. Some say contra indicated during pregnancy.

Recipe - Temple Rub

  • 2 drops Marjoram
  • 1 drop Lavender
  • 1 drop Peppermint

Add to 1 tsp carrier oil, from center of forehead, pull your fingers across your forehead, out to temples, circle the temples, hold and press. careful to not get the blend near or in your eyes.

Better than the Rest

I bought Marjoram from a different source and it did not smell as wonderful as the Marjoram from Jodi. I absolutely LOVE this essential oil!
